13 -library, bookcase o bookshop?-
Il sostantivo corretto per indicare il mobile che contiene i libri è “bookcase”: Questa libreria è troppo piccola per tutti i miei libri, this bookcase is too small for all my books. Il negozio in cui si vendono i libri è invece chiamato “bookshop” o “bookstore”: C'è una bella libreria qui vicino, there's a nice bookshop near here.English-Italian dictionary > -library, bookcase o bookshop?-

20 -travel, journey o trip?-
Journey viene di solito usato per viaggi piuttosto lunghi: How was your journey?, com'è andato il viaggio?; It was a long and difficult journey through the mountains, è stato un viaggio lungo e difficile attraverso le montagne. Sia journey che trip vengono spesso usati con la preposizione on: We went on a trip to Salisbury, siamo andati in gita a Salisbury.
